D’Shane Teague | Founder / Owner / VP Franchise Operations

D’Shane Teague owns and operates a worldwide multi million dollar wholesale gloves and safety product business based in New Mexico since 1997.  He brings 20 years of private business experience to the Glove Lady LLC.  He owned and operated his own general contracting business for 11 years in Albuquerque, New Mexico.  He was a co-owner of a telecommunications company based in Sedona, Arizona and has owned his own sales, marketing and consulting business.  He is also a member of the Western and English Sales Association.

 D’Shane’s diverse professional background gives him extensive experience in leading The Glove Lady’s franchise development drive.  He will forecast key trends; conduct new business and market assessments, and identify emerging opportunities for the company.  He will be responsible for generating and implementing new approaches to markets and selling, working with industry partners and manufacturers in the design and development of new products, training and marketing.

 He will be responsible for the development and execution of The Glove Lady LLC national branding strategy and communications activities and for coordinating overall marketing strategies and activities with the franchisees.  He has primary responsibility for the product support and training of the individual franchisees.

Gary M Belford | VP Business Development

Gary has a 20+ year history of building sales forces and companies, primarily in the information technology industry. Starting in the early 80’s, he spent 13 years with Kalleens Computer Products, building from scratch a $27M sales division. He later served as VP of Sales for the $82M, San Rafael, CA-based marketer of Hewlett-Packard Co.’s server and imaging products. In the mid 90’s, Gary was Director of Sales for Quest Media, an $80M networking and cabling services VAR based in Sacramento, CA. 

From 1998 to 2004 Gary was VP of Sales for Lilien Systems a nationally recognized IT integration partner of Hewlett Packard Co.  In this role, Gary evaluated dozens of companies for HP’s very successful Garage Program, determining which CEO’s would receive money and incubation assistance for their start-up firm.  Gary has excellent sales training and evaluation skills and has hired and trained more than 300 sales professionals in his career.

Gary will be primarily responsible for leading the national franchise recruiting effort.  He has an excellent understanding of the business demographics required for territory design and will assist the franchisee in territory selection.  He will also provide the market overview and industry data necessary for the prospective franchisee to make an informed decision.

Rick Doolin | Warehouse Operations Manager

Rick Doolin has significant experience in the use and applications for many glove types and safety products, having trade skills training in the use of plasma welders, abrasives, cutting devices, pumping equipment specialty chainsaws, coatings, fiberglass and numerous industrial tools. Rick is the Warehouse Operations Manager for the Glove Lady.  Rick has an extensive, 15 year operations and warehousing background in the industrial glove and safety markets.  He has been responsible for ordering, inventorying and distribution of gloves, safety glasses and related safety products to 500-600 customers throughout the US and International markets.  Rick attended San Juan College in New Mexico and majored in math and computer science.
