Franchise Territory

A base franchise territory is one in which there are a minimum of 5,000 business establishments.  This number is always an approximate number and is determined by U.S. Census Bureau data. 

When possible, these will be assigned by a county-based business demographic.  When a metropolitan area is either too large or too small to use a county-based model, The Glove Lady may use a zip code based demographic, within a county framework.   Zip codes alone may be used to determine the 5,000 minimum establishment count.

In addition to the business establishment criteria, The Glove Lady will search the demographic parameters of the franchise territory to determine the number of construction and manufacturing establishments.  As these are excellent prospects for many of our products, we will target approximately 500+ construction establishments and approximately 300+ manufacturing establishments per each 5,000 minimum establishment, base franchise territory.  When the size and location of a franchise territory has been determined, a representative of The Glove Lady will provide you with valuable information about its business demographic.
